Islamabad: The fiscal year 2025-26 was a heavy burden on citizens, consumers were forced to buy the most expensive petrol and diesel in the country’s history and bore the historic burden of petroleum levy.
According to available data, in the current fiscal year 2025-26, which ended on June 30, the government increased the price of one liter of high-speed diesel by Rs 257.76 and one liter of petrol by Rs 199.98.
