In the letter, they have reiterated their appeal for medical treatment of former captain and PTI founder Imran Khan.
They say that the recent developments are not in line with the Supreme Court’s directives. The 21 signatories to the letter include Michael Atherton, Alex Blackwell, Allan Border, Michael Brearley, Greg Chappell, Ian Chappell, Belinda Clarke, Alastair Cook, Mike Gatting, Sunil Gavaskar, Lee Germain, Adam Gilchrist, David Gower, Kim Hughes, Nasser Hussain, Clive Lloyd, Kapil Dev, Arjuna Ranatunga, Andrew Strauss, Dilip Vengsarkar, Steve Waugh and John Wright.
The letter states that the Supreme Court of Pakistan had ordered that Imran Khan be shifted to the hospital so that a medical board could examine him, which was to include his personal physicians and his sister Dr. Uzma Khan.
The court also reinstated weekly visits with the family.
