22 more Iranian citizens released from US custody have reached Karachi, arrangements for their repatriation are underway
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said in a statement that 22 Iranian citizens released from US custody have reached Karachi.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that arrangements are being finalized for the repatriation of Iranian citizens, and arrangements for their repatriation are being made with the cooperation of the diplomatic missions of Pakistan and Iran.

The Foreign Minister said that he was in touch with the US and Iranian authorities during the repatriation process of Iranian citizens. This is the fourth group of Iranians in 2 months that Pakistan has helped in repatriating. Pakistan has so far helped more than 70 Iranians return home through Pakistan.

The Foreign Minister expressed his gratitude to the Iranian leadership for trusting Pakistan. Ishaq Dar said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Pakistani institutions played a professional and effective role for the safe return of Iranian brothers.
