Iran’s strong response after US attacks, missiles fired at military bases in Bahrain, Jordan and Kuwait

Tehran: Iran has claimed a strong response after the US attacks, saying that several US military bases and installations in the region have been targeted.
A statement issued by the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, the center of Iranian military command, said that this action was taken in response to US aggression. According to the statement, Iran has targeted some US military bases in the region and if the US attacks continue, an even stronger response will be given.
According to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, the US attacks damaged a telecommunications tower in the Sirik region of southern Iran, while two water tanks were also destroyed.
The Revolutionary Guards claimed that in response, the US Fifth Fleet stationed in Bahrain was targeted by a drone attack. Iranian officials say that defensive measures against the US military presence and attacks will continue.
On the other hand, Russian media has claimed that Iran has destroyed a US MQ-9 drone in the Jam area, however, there has been no official confirmation from US authorities in this regard.
According to Iranian media, the Revolutionary Guards also launched a missile attack on the US Al-Azraq military base in Jordan. The Iranian statement said that four important targets were hit in the attack, including the hangars of F-35 aircraft and the command and control center.
The Revolutionary Guards further said that long-range missiles were used in the attack. In addition, a drone attack has also been claimed on the Ali Al-Salem military base in Kuwait.
Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti army has said in its statement that its air defense system is busy thwarting enemy attacks and is monitoring the country’s airspace.
The situation in the Middle East has once again become extremely sensitive due to the growing tension in the region, while the international community is appealing to the parties to exercise restraint and avoid further conflict.
