Around 45,000 people attended the open-air concert held at the famous Celebration Square in Mississauga, Canada, which organizers have described as the largest musical gathering in the history of the venue.
According to the organizers, due to the large number of fans, the crowd was not limited to Celebration Square but spread to the surrounding streets and the premises of the nearby center. The concert was the final show of the North American leg of Ali Zafar’s Roshni Tour 2026. Thousands of people from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and the South Asian community participated in the free open-air program. The diverse crowd, consisting of children, youth, families and seniors, showed great enthusiasm throughout the concert. The most memorable moment of the concert came when Ali Zafar performed his popular song Jhoom and thousands of fans lit up the lights of their mobile phones, transforming the entire venue into a sea of lights.
Later, Ali Zafar came down from the stage and went among the fans, which drew great enthusiasm from the audience. He said that we are all part of one humanity, no matter where we are in the world, we should be proud of our roots and culture, respect for each other’s choices and freedom is what keeps us together.
Ali also emphasized the importance of women’s right to make their own decisions, encouraging children’s dreams, and better communication and understanding within families.
At the end of the concert, thousands of fans sang along with Ali Zafar, and many attendees, including organizers, called the evening one of the most memorable events in Mississauga’s cultural history.
