The 16th Syndicate meeting of the University of Child Health Sciences was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique, where all decisions of the 15th Syndicate meeting were ratified.
The Syndicate approved appointments and extensions of Deans, Treasurer, and other statutory positions, along with university posts, budget allocations, audit department positions, and the establishment of a College of Pharmacy. Approval was also granted to name the University’s new auditorium after Prof. Dr. Masood Sadiq.
The meeting further approved the launch of an MPhil program in Histopathology, a one-year funded training program in Pediatric Plastic Surgery, training in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology in Bangladesh, and a pediatric kidney transplant model at Children’s Hospital Lahore.
Khawaja Salman Rafique directed officials to ensure the timely completion of the University’s main building and reaffirmed the Punjab Government’s commitment to promoting quality education, research, and improved healthcare services across medical institutions.
