The Punjab Health Initiative Management Company (PHIMC) organized a special Independence Day ceremony attended by Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafiq as chief guest. CEO Dr. Ali Razaq, former DG Health Punjab and Board Member Dr. Zahid Pervaiz, and other officers also participated.
The ceremony opened with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the national anthem, followed by flag hoisting and cake cutting.
Khawaja Salman Rafiq said Pakistan was achieved after countless sacrifices and that freedom is a priceless blessing. He said, under Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision, the government is committed to providing quality healthcare facilities to the people and supporting millions of deserving patients.
Dr. Zahid Pervaiz highlighted the sacrifices and determination of the Muslims of 1947, while Dr. Ali Razaq reaffirmed PHIMC’s commitment to serving the nation and improving public healthcare. The minister also appreciated Dr. Ali Razaq and his team for organizing the ceremony.
