Sahiwal Teaching Hospital held a dignified Independence Day ceremony attended by Principal Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhtar Malik, doctors, nurses, paramedical staff and other employees.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhtar Malik hoisted the national flag and, along with medical experts and staff, cut the Independence Day cake.
Addressing the ceremony, he said that Pakistan is a precious gift earned through the sacrifices of our forefathers, and serving the nation with honesty and dedication is our collective responsibility. He highlighted the vital role of healthcare professionals in serving humanity and contributing to national development.
The Principal also launched a tree plantation campaign by planting a sapling at the hospital, emphasizing that a clean and green environment is essential for a healthy future.
The ceremony concluded with prayers for the peace, prosperity, progress and stability of Pakistan.
