American singer Ariana Grande has strongly discouraged US President Donald Trump’s team from using her songs.
A few days ago, a video was shared on Trump’s official TikTok account, which used Ariana Grande’s popular song ‘We Can’t Be Friends’.
The video was made in the style of a viral trending song, showing Donald Trump walking towards the stage during a rally. The video also included a political message about transgender people and women’s sports.
Ariana Grande commented directly on the TikTok video, writing, “Never use my music again, and what you are saying is true is wrong.”
Later, her comment did not appear on the video.
This is not the first time that Ariana Grande has objected to the use of her songs by the Trump administration. In June of this year, the White House TikTok account used her song “Bye” in a video about the immigration crackdown.
Even then, the singer strongly objected and demanded that her music not be associated with such policies, after which the song was muted in the video.
