Isha Ambani, the daughter of Indian business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, captured everyone’s attention with her stunning entry at Paris Haute Couture Week, but it was a rare handbag that stole the show more than her expensive outfit.
The diamond-studded Hermes Birkin bag carried by Isha Ambani is considered one of the most expensive bags in the world, estimated to be worth about $2 million (approximately more than 560 million Pakistani rupees).
Isha Ambani had arrived to attend the runway show of renowned Indian designer Rahul Mishra, where the extremely rare Hermès Birkin Sac Bijou in her hand caught everyone’s eyes in the fashion world.
According to luxury resale platform Prive Porter and auction house Sotheby’s, the price of this unique bag is about $2 million. It is not made for everyday use like a regular Birkin bag, but rather has the status of a precious jewel in the form of a handbag.
A masterpiece made of more than 3,000 diamonds
This unique bag is part of the haute jewelry collection of French luxury brand Hermes, which was created by renowned designer Pierre Hardy. The bag is made of 18-carat white gold, on which 3,025 sparkling diamonds have been hand-stitched, weighing more than 111 carats.
This extremely small bag has a crocodile skin-like design made of white gold, which makes it even more unique. According to reports, this rare bag is actually owned by Isha Ambani’s mother, Nita Ambani.
Isha Ambani’s outfit was also the center of attention
Although the precious Birkin bag caught everyone’s attention, Isha Ambani’s outfit was no less striking. She wore a beautiful grey gown, which featured a sweetheart neckline, corset-style bodice and intricate beading and sequin work.
The hem of the gown had a subtle ombre effect, while a matching shawl draped over her shoulders added to the glamour. She accessorized the look with sparkly open-toe heels and a statement necklace by renowned jewellery designer Lorraine Schwartz.
