Narowal Medical College Hosts Advanced Thyroid Surgery Workshop

Narowal Medical College successfully organized a special pre-conference surgical workshop, “Thyroidectomy Without Complications: Surgical Tips and Tricks,” as part of NAROCON-2 at the Conference Hall of DHQ Teaching Hospital Narowal.
The workshop focused on modern thyroidectomy techniques, safe surgical practices, prevention of complications, and practical surgical skills. Dr. Zafar Mengal, Dr. Ahmed Naeem, Dr. Rehan Hameed and Dr. Uzma Shaheen served as faculty members, while Dr. Muneeb Bajwa and Dr. Hussain Zia were the focal persons.
Prof. Rana Sohail, Chief Organizer and Speaker, said that such hands-on workshops play a vital role in familiarizing young doctors and surgeons with modern surgical techniques. He emphasized that practical training is essential for minimizing complications and improving patient safety during thyroid surgery.
Prof. Kamran Chaudhry, Principal Narowal Medical College, said that modern medical education must go hand in hand with practical training.
