Eminent orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Umar Iqbal has officially assumed charge as Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery (BS-19) at the Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), Lahore, following a notification issued by the Punjab Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department.
Dr. Umar Iqbal, who had already been serving at SIMS, has now taken over the post previously held by Dr. Arif Mahmood, who is on Leave Preparatory to Retirement (LPR).
