According to ISPR, General Syed Amir Raza laid a wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial and offered Fateha for the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country.
According to ISPR, Commander National Strategic Command met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters. According to ISPR, the Field Marshal congratulated General Syed Amir Raza on assuming command and expressed his best wishes.
It is worth noting that 2 days ago, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif promoted Pakistan Army Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Amir Raza to the rank of four-star general. In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office on social media, it was announced that Pakistan Army Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Amir Raza was promoted to the rank of four-star general and appointed as Commander National Strategic Command. General Amir Raza passed the commission in 1988, he graduated from Command and Staff College Quetta and National Defense University Islamabad. In addition, he has also obtained a degree in International Relations from the University of Nottingham.
General Amir Raza was appointed Chief of General Staff GHQ in January 2025, in addition to this, he has also served as Commander Four Corps and Chairman Heavy Industries Taxila.
