Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, responding to the statement of the Jordanian Foreign Minister, has accused the United States of not respecting Arab and Iranian sovereignty.
Araqchi questioned whether the Jordanian Foreign Minister was unaware that the United States used the airspace, land and sea borders of Arab countries during the initial attacks, which, he said, resulted in the killing of innocent Iranian citizens.
The Iranian Foreign Minister further asked how much longer Iran should wait before responding to an aggressor who neither respects the sovereignty of Arab countries nor Iran. Araqchi’s statement came amid ongoing tensions between Iran and the United States.
His statement shows that Tehran is viewing the use of the borders of some Arab countries in the region as well as American military operations with strong objection.
