Cross-border terrorism will be crushed with the full might of the state: Field Marshal

According to the ISPR, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the National Defense University and addressed the graduating officers of the National Security and War Course.

According to the ISPR, officers from all three armed forces participated in the course. The Field Marshal highlighted the changing nature of warfare while expressing confidence in the capabilities, high morale and operational readiness of the armed forces.

Speaking to the participants on this occasion, the Field Marshal said that institutions like NDU are equipping the military and civilian leadership of the future to combat hybrid threats.

The Army Chief said that all efforts of proxy elements working under the auspices of enemy agencies will fail and cross-border terrorism will be crushed with the full might of the state.

The Field Marshal said that the armed forces of Pakistan are fully aware of the enemy’s intelligence agencies, they will never allow proxy elements to harm the peace and prosperity of Pakistan, the forces will ensure the elimination of the hideouts of these proxy elements with the support of the nation, while completely eliminating the facilitators of terrorists.

According to the ISPR, the Field Marshal said that strategic insight and institutional professionalism are of fundamental importance to deal with complex strategic challenges, wars are not won through rhetoric or political slogans but through faith, unity and discipline.
