According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir is on a visit to Iran. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is also accompanying Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
In Tehran, Field Marshal Asim Munir also met with Iranian Interior Minister Iskander Momeni. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also participated in the meeting.
The ISPR says that Field Marshal Asim Munir has arrived in Iran in connection with Pakistan’s efforts to promote regional peace and stability.
Field Marshal Asim Munir will focus on promoting efforts to resolve the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
