.A free meal initiative at H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Hospital, Rojhan is providing vital humanitarian support to patients and their attendants by ensuring two nutritious meals every day during their stay at the hospital.
The 40-bed H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Hospital was donated in 2004 by the late His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, former President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, as a humanitarian initiative for the people of Rojhan and surrounding areas of District Rajanpur.
Under the welfare programme, around 50 patients and attendants receive free meals daily, helping families facing financial difficulties while they remain at the hospital for treatment and care.
The meals are distributed in an organized manner, with special attention given to food quality and quantity. The food is also inspected by the medical doctor on duty to ensure the safety and wellbeing of beneficiaries.
The initiative reflects the hospital’s broader humanitarian mission, extending support beyond medical treatment to address the basic needs of patients and their families. Through free healthcare and daily meals, H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Hospital continues to serve as an important source of relief and welfare for communities across Rojhan and nearby areas of District Rajanpur.
