Principal Sahiwal Medical College, Prof. Dr. M. Akhtar Malik, along with the Additional Medical Superintendent (AMS), visited Sahiwal Teaching Hospital and inspected the Medical OPD, Main Emergency, General Ward, and Gastroenterology Ward.

During the visit, he reviewed patient care services, clinical facilities, and the hospital’s overall performance. The hospital administration briefed him on ongoing healthcare services and future improvement plans.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Malik said that, in line with the vision and directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, patients at Sahiwal Teaching Hospital are being provided free and quality healthcare services, including medicines and diagnostic facilities.

He emphasized that the institution remains committed to improving healthcare delivery, strengthening medical education, and ensuring high-quality patient management. He also appreciated the efforts of the hospital administration and staff, directing them to continue focusing on patient welfare, cleanliness, availability of medicines, and excellence in healthcare services.
