Google employee quits multi-million dollar job to open restaurant

According to foreign media, Salahuddin Abdulkafi, a 35-year-old IT expert who worked for companies including Microsoft, Google, YouTube and Cruise for 14 years, has quit his multi-million dollar job to open a restaurant.

Media reports have said that the IT expert claimed that he used to earn $450,000 annually from this job and that he had quit his job to open a halal bar-b-q restaurant in the US state of Texas.

In this regard, Salahuddin Abdulkafi said that he decided to quit his high-paying job because he had become ‘disillusioned’ with the industry and that his work was focused on making more money than improving people’s lives.

Abdul Kafi, in an interview, said that the ‘Kafi Barbecue’ restaurant was opened in December 2004. The barbecue was organized for three days, but it ended on the first day, after which the barbecue was prepared again.

Gaining popularity rapidly across the state and the country, Abdul Kafi revealed that his restaurant will earn $4 million in revenue this year, while it earned $2.3 million in revenue last year.
