India is the biggest sponsor of terrorism in South Asia, Khawaja Asif’s befitting reply to Rajnath Singh
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif strongly condemned the controversial and provocative statement of his Indian counterpart Rajnath Singh and said that Pakistan categorically rejects the irresponsible statements of the Indian Defense Minister.

Reacting to the provocative statement of the Indian Defense Minister, Khawaja Asif said that such statements reflect a continuous attempt to distort internationally recognized legal facts through political rhetoric and coercive behavior, they can neither change the status of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir nor contribute to regional peace, stability or meaningful dialogue.

He added that Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognized dispute, the final decision of which remains to be made in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the freely expressed wishes of the Kashmiri people.

He said that India’s repeated attempts to defame Pakistan are completely unconvincing in light of its own solid record of state-sponsored terrorism and criminal activities. In fact, India is the biggest sponsor of terrorism and the main cause of instability in South Asia, which has held the entire region hostage due to its aggressive and expansionist ambitions.
The Defence Minister said that similarly, this irresponsible rhetoric of India is also extremely worrying, which is further increasing the risk of inter-state conflicts in the region. Pakistan is committed to peace and dialogue, but its resolve to defend its sovereignty, territorial integrity and national security is final and unwavering, which should never be tested.

Khawaja Asif said that this forceful rhetoric of the Indian Defence Minister is actually a failed attempt to divert attention from India’s internal tensions, growing unrest and public anger against Modi’s authoritarian and divisive style of governance.
