The actress’s family confirmed her death almost a month later through a statement released on her official Instagram account.
According to the family, Ananya Raj passed away in her sleep in the early hours of July 15. She had been facing physical and mental difficulties for more than a year.
The family said in a statement that Ananya fought bravely to overcome her difficulties and was a strong-willed person.
The family has appealed to fans to pray for the actress and also requested to respect her privacy during this difficult time.
It should be noted that Ananya Raj had worked in Hindi and regional films. The Mumbai-raised actress entered the showbiz industry through films and music videos.
Ananya made her Bollywood debut in 2016 with the film ‘7 Hours to Go’, after which she also showed her acting skills in ‘The Final Exit’ in 2017 and ‘Ghost’ in 2019.
She also worked in a Telugu film and the trilingual film ‘Madrasi Gang’
