Washington: US President Donald Trump’s popularity has hit the lowest level of his current presidency.
According to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll, only 33 percent of Americans approve of Trump’s performance, while 64 percent disapprove. In the survey, 80 percent of Americans said the US war against Iran could last a long time. This includes 87 percent of Democrats and 71 percent of Republicans.
Only 16 percent believed the conflict could end in a few weeks.
According to Reuters, the survey was conducted online over four days, in which 1,166 American adults from across the country participated. The survey has a margin of error of up to 3 percent.
