A private tv channel (Public News) aired a fake news a few days ago during a program. This program was presenting by Salman Haider a well known anchor person. His guest Anwar Samra who is also a prominent journalist break the news that cheif secretary Punjab house is being renovated by using more than 22 Lacs of Money. On this Punjab Government took immediate action.
They reported to cyber crime agency which decided to take action under Peca act. everbody particularly journalists knoew about this law. There was a protest too launched by journalists against this law but it still perists. Now cyber crime control agency is in action against these journalist. Public tv immediatly asked for apology on this news. Anwar Samra has also given statement to agency. Crtainly he has presented his point of view in front of them. But Now Irshad Bhatti is in trap. He is yelling saying a lot of things like sheikh rashid but it is confirmed that he has to face jail during this hot season in Lahore. A journalist should not give a fake news at all untill and unless he has solid evidences.
