Karachi: Robbery of Rs 2.5 million outside a bank in Clifton, young doctor killed in firing

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South Mahzoor Ali said that a young man named Akash, his father and an accomplice had withdrawn Rs 5 million from a private bank near Tin Talwar. When the citizen reached outside the bank in Boat Basin to deposit this money, the accused attacked the car.

According to the police, during this time, the bank guard opened fire, and the accused also returned fire, killing the young man Akash, while the accused fled with a bag containing Rs 2.5 million.

Authorities say that they have started an investigation into the incident from all angles, the accused will be arrested soon and brought to justice.

According to the police, the young man who died in the firing was Akash, 28-year-old Akash had left the bank with the money along with his father. The security guard who opened fire has been taken into custody.
