Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore’s Political Committee met at the Syed Maududi Islamic Centre under the chairmanship of Khalid Ahmed Butt. The meeting was attended by Naib Ameer JI Pakistan Liaqat Baloch, Ameer JI Lahore Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate, Dr. Farid Ahmad Paracha, and other senior leaders._x000D_
The committee reviewed organizational and public outreach activities and discussed preparations for the upcoming local government elections. Participants resolved to field honest, educated, and capable candidates to serve the people of Lahore._x000D_
The meeting also reviewed the progress of the “Badal Do Nizam” membership campaign and decided to further expand it at the grassroots level. The leadership emphasized the importance of public welfare measures and relief for low- and middle-income citizens in the upcoming budget._x000D_
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of Jamaat-e-Islami’s commitment to public service and democratic values.
