The Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department has changed the Medical Superintendents (MSs) of two government teaching hospitals in Punjab.
Professor Dr. Hafiz Moeen-ud-Din, Medical Superintendent of Jinnah Hospital Lahore, has been removed from the post with immediate effect. He has also been relieved of his responsibilities as Professor of Anatomy at Allama Iqbal Medical College. Dr. Zeeshan Haider, Additional Principal Medical Officer (BS-19), has been assigned the additional charge of Medical Superintendent, Jinnah Hospital Lahore, alongside his existing duties until further orders.
Dr. Mansoor Ahmed Afghan, Medical Superintendent of Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital, Dera Ghazi Khan, has also been removed from his position and directed to report to the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department. Dr. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, Additional Principal Medical Officer (BS-19), has been given the look-after charge of Medical Superintendent, Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital, Dera Ghazi Khan, in addition to his existing responsibilities until further orders.
