According to investigative sources, the DNA match of the accused who raped foreign women has been made. Nawaz is also among the rapists.
Sources said that accused Nawaz was the first to rape the foreign woman and at the instigation of accused Nawaz, other accused also raped her.
According to investigative sources, the DNA report has been made part of the investigation and further investigations are underway regarding the incident.
It should be noted that a case has also been registered regarding the accident that occurred in the car of the foreign women in the kidnapping and rape case.
According to the police, a case of a traffic accident has been registered before the foreign women escaped from the car. This case has been registered by the South Cantonment Police on the statement of citizen Usman.
According to citizen Usman, his car was hit and damaged worth Rs 300,000. This accident occurred near the airport on July 1 at 8:45 pm.
It should be noted that DIG Operations Faisal Kamran, while holding a press conference in Lahore yesterday, had said that the police are treating the accused, allegedly related to a senior government minister, in the same way as other accused.
He said that the case of alleged rape of foreign women does not fall under the Crime Control Department (CCD), therefore it is being investigated by Lahore Police. He said that the rape cell established within the Punjab Police is reviewing the case, which is why the CCD is not involved in this case.
Meanwhile, in the Sessions Court Lahore, the court has restrained SHO Faryad from arresting him till July 10 in the case of SHO Defense C threatening the Judicial Magistrate in the case of rape and kidnapping of foreign women.
The court has issued notices to the police and sought a reply and ordered SHO Faryad Ali to join the investigation.
Additional Sessions Judge Abdul Quddus heard the application for interim bail in the case.
It should be noted that an FIR has been registered on the complaint of SHO Defense C for threatening the Judicial Magistrate’s house, against which a case has been registered by Mustafabad Police Station.
