According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations Department (ISPR), a Pakistan Air Force training aircraft crashed near Mardan today during a routine training flight.
The ISPR said that Flight Lieutenant Muhammad Qasim Abdullah of the Pakistan Air Force and Lieutenant Taha Abbasi of the Pakistan Navy were martyred in the accident.
According to the ISPR, Field Marshal Asim Munir, Services Chiefs and officers and men of the armed forces expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic accident and also expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs.
