Karachi: In the Mir Raza murder case, the sister of the deceased has revealed some suspicious matters in her video statement.
The investigation into the case related to the murder of young businessman Mir Raza is still ongoing from various angles. In this regard, DIG Aamir Farooqui had indicated that he would consider releasing the CCTV footage of Mir Raza’s last moments, but this video has not surfaced yet.
Meanwhile, during the investigation, MLO Dr. Osama Sheikh, who conducted the first post-mortem of Mir Raza, has also been questioned and his mobile phone has also been taken into custody for forensic examination.
Investigation sources have said that the investigation team also sought help from Police Surgeon Dr. Samia Syed. Dr. Samia Syed briefed the investigation team regarding the medical terms used in Mir Raza’s post-mortem reports.
Sources said that Dr. Samia Syed also answered the questions of the investigation team regarding the post-mortem reports. The investigation team is facing difficulties during the investigation due to the terminology used in the medical reports. On the other hand, DIG Aamir Farooqui has expressed his consideration of releasing the CCTV footage of Mir Raza’s alleged last moments and the family has raised the question that if the police had the footage, why was it not shared with the family.
