Jensen Huang, CEO of American technology company Nvidia, has claimed that the latest version of ChatGPT is the first example of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). It is also called human-level artificial intelligence.
According to the report, OpenAI last week introduced its new GPT-6 model, which is named ChatGPT Astra.
The new model has shown impressive performance in various benchmark tests, due to which it is being considered prominent over rival models such as Anthropic’s Cloud and Google’s Gemini.
According to OpenAI, the new model has the latest capabilities in using computers, web browsing, software engineering, cybersecurity, scientific and professional tasks and can complete multiple tasks autonomously at the same time.
During a demonstration, the new AI model simultaneously responded to user requests while also performing complex tasks, including creating a video game and drafting legal documents.
After the new model was unveiled, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang congratulated the OpenAI team in a message on social media platform X, writing, “AGI is here, congratulations to the OpenAI team.”
