PMA Lahore celebrated Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with patriotic zeal, paying tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistan Movement and reaffirming the medical community’s commitment to the country’s safety, progress and prosperity.
PMA leaders, including Dr. Izhar Ahmed Chaudhry, Dr. Kamran Saeed Sheikh, Prof. Shahid Malik, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Nizami and Prof. Tanveer Anwar, participated in the flag-hoisting ceremony. Speakers paid rich tribute to the sacrifices made for Pakistan and emphasized the medical fraternity’s responsibility to serve the nation.
The ceremony concluded with cake cutting and a traditional Lahore breakfast for the participants.
