Principal AIMC Visits Newly Established Academic & Research Block at Surgical Unit IV

 

Principal of Allama Iqbal Medical College/Jinnah Hospital Lahore, Prof. Dr. Tayyaba Wasim, visited Surgical Unit IV to inspect patient care services and review the newly established Academic and Research Block, including a modern Classroom and Reading Room developed with the support of the Gohar Ejaz Foundation.

During the visit, she reviewed the overall functioning of the unit and expressed satisfaction with the quality of patient care and the facilities available for patients. She appreciated the efforts made to strengthen the academic and research environment for MBBS students and postgraduate trainees.

Prof. Dr. Tayyaba Wasim was accompanied by Medical Superintendent Jinnah Hospital Lahore, Prof. Hafiz Moen Ud Din, Dean of Surgery Prof. Dr. Farooq Ahmad Rana, Head of Surgical Unit II Prof. Dr. Tauseef Fatima, and Head of Surgical Unit III Dr. Kiran Siddiqui.

On the occasion, the Principal also inaugurated a new ECG machine donated to Surgical Unit IV by one of the unit’s doctors, terming it a valuable addition to patient care services.

Addressing postgraduate trainees and students, Prof. Dr. Tayyaba Wasim delivered a lecture on professionalism and patient-centered care, urging young doctors to uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence, ethics, and compassion in their medical practice.

Head of Surgical Unit IV, Dr. Kamran Ali, thanked the Principal for her continued support in the development of Surgical Unit IV and the overall improvement of surgical services at Jinnah Hospital Lahore.
