On the other hand, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has expressed the possibility that Iran will eventually become part of the Mecca defense alliance.
Lavrov said that if Egypt and Algeria join the Mecca agreement, this will also be a positive development and it will be a very good practical step towards implementing the vision on the part of Russia.
It should be noted that last year, Trump had made it clear that if India did not stop buying Russian oil, heavy tariffs would continue on it.
After Trump’s threat, India bowed to American pressure and the Indian company decided not to buy Russian oil.
