Contact between the Prime Minister and the Saudi Crown Prince, both leaders agreed to successfully extend the next phase of the Iran-US agreement
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, contact was made between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The Saudi Crown Prince congratulated the Prime Minister on the Iran-US agreement, the Prime Minister congratulated the Saudi Crown Prince on signing the historic Islamabad Peace Agreement.
According to the statement, the Saudi Crown Prince appreciated the tireless efforts of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Saudi Crown Prince said that the peace agreement was successfully concluded due to the tireless efforts of the Prime Minister and the Field Marshal.
The two leaders agreed to successfully extend the next phase of the Iran-US agreement, and it was also agreed that full vigilance will be maintained against any attempt to sabotage the negotiation process.
According to the statement, the Prime Minister said that both countries are ready to finalize the comprehensive economic package and sign it. The Prime Minister also invited the Crown Prince to visit Pakistan at his convenience.
The two leaders agreed to continue mutual communication and close cooperation in the coming days. During the conversation, it was said that it is necessary to resolve the remaining issues between Iran and the United States through dialogue.
The Prime Minister said that the peace agreement was reached within a few months due to the strong support of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.
According to the statement, the Prime Minister sincerely thanked the Crown Prince for his continuous and strong support for the peace efforts. The Prime Minister paid tribute to the wise and thoughtful leadership of Saudi Arabia during the crisis.
