Under Section 32 and 32A of the NAB Act, the Supreme Court does not have the authority to hear, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar delivered a short judgment
In a short judgment, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar of the Supreme Court ruled that the Federal Constitutional Court will hear the central appeals and bail applications in NAB cases. Under Section 32 and 32A of the NAB Act, the Supreme Court does not have the authority to hear.
The decision declared that all cases under Article 175A and F of the NAB cases will be considered as transfer cases to the Federal Constitutional Court. It should be noted that PTI founder Imran Khan had also approached the Supreme Court against the High Court’s bail case and the Registrar Supreme Court returned the application with objections.
After the Supreme Court’s decision, the Federal Constitutional Court will now hear the bail case of the founder PTI.
