DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry says that more than 40,000 intelligence-based operations have been carried out in the country, terrorists will either have to surrender or we will eliminate them.
Giving a press briefing on counter-terrorism and security issues, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that large-scale counter-terrorism operations have been carried out in the country during the past 5 years. So far, 31,000 intelligence-based operations have been carried out in Balochistan, while 7,177 operations have been carried out in KP.
He said that so far this year, 819 people have been martyred in terrorist operations, 303 army personnel were martyred while fighting terrorism, 322 civilians were also martyred in terrorist operations.
He said that 2084 confirmed terrorists were killed, security forces have conducted 194 operations daily, 10 terrorists were killed every day, a total of 28 suicide attacks took place, Afghans are involved in most of the bomb blasts, Afghans were involved in the incidents that took place in Tank, Karachi, the Taliban regime of Afghanistan is supporting terrorists, Afghanistan’s diplomacy is also around terrorism, we will give 100 times more pain to the terrorists and their facilitators so that they remember it till the Day of Judgment.
Elite class and Sardar are against the development of Balochistan: DG ISPR
DG ISPR said that there is a deliberate attempt to spread the impression that the situation in Balochistan is bad, there is no scope for talks with terrorists, terrorists should either lay down their arms according to the law or we will fight them.
He said that there is a deliberate attempt to propagate Balochistan because the elite and the chiefs do not want the poor child to progress. There is a tribe of terrorists in which status is important. The status is that the poor child should not study and always be their slave. They have a habit of saying that Levies is my personal force, I am its chief. The problem of Balochistan is the chiefs and the elite class there. They want the Levies Force to guard their personal homes. We will talk to the people of Balochistan, not the elite class and chiefs.
The DG ISPR said that these people consider the Levies Force to be their chief force. Otherwise, they threaten to commit terrorism. The Afghan Taliban regime has only one job, which is to do terrorism as a business. What else do Afghanistan and India have in common besides the BLA? This is not Afghanistan, these are areas under the control of the Afghan Taliban regime.
He said that Pakistan, the constitution and the law are equal for everyone, are we a hard state? A hard state is one in which all matters are in accordance with the constitution and the law, a hard state does not mean that the military is running the state, we all have a responsibility to be loyal to the state because if there is a state, then there is politics, the state is the life of all of us, Pakistan is our first and last identity.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif said that we are killing them outside, we are hunting them, so now Fitnatul Khawarij, Fitnatul Hindustan and their handlers sitting in India are now targeting soft targets, so far this year 178 civilians have been martyred, they destroyed bridges and roads at 24 places, 60 places were set on fire, this is the sense of deprivation of these people and their anti-development agenda that they are promoting.
He said that they are creating an incident with the girls of Balochistan, mentally trapping them and making them commit terrorism, it has nothing to do with our religion and culture, sometimes it is said that 10 thousand, sometimes 20 thousand are said about the missing persons, a commission was formed in which applications were given.
DG ISPR said that people from Balochistan themselves say that our brother or son has gone missing, it has nothing to do with it, it turns out that such missing persons have joined the BLA, the missing persons whose lists are given are killed in battles somewhere, some missing persons are killed in terrorism in Gwadar, Quetta, Mastung, the Balochistan police is enough to wipe out these criminals.
He said that more than 300 bogus websites of India are propagating against Balochistan, bogus websites are instigating hatred and division through different platforms, India’s cyber will be behind them, but our children are no less, we want to empower the people of Balochistan and are doing it, every year 10800 students are educated in IT in Balochistan.
DG ISPR said that 2.6 million Afghan refugees have been sent, if you want to go, get a visa, request from the government, go on record and come back, so far we have seized smuggled goods worth nearly 25 billion, the only place for smugglers in the hard state is in jail, 4500 people have been arrested who were involved in human trafficking.
