The next round of Iran-US talks will begin in Pakistan on July 11, Saudi media reported. According to Al-Arabiya, this round of talks will begin after the completion of the funeral of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in which important issues between the two countries are expected to be discussed. The report said that several important issues, including sanctions on Iran, the recovery of Iran’s frozen assets and the Iranian nuclear program, will be discussed during the talks. According to Al-Arabiya, direct talks between Iran and the United States were recently held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, which US President Donald Trump described as constructive. According to the report, after the Doha talks, Iran claimed that it had agreed to restore a few billion dollars of its frozen assets during the talks, but the United States denied the Iranian claims.
