Students from The Trust School boys & girls campuses 9th and 10th class along with their teachers visited the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore. They had an interaction with UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani and Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf. The purpose of the students visit was to foster their interest in veterinary-related fields of acquiring knowledge for a better future.
Prof Dr Masood Rabbani welcomed them and briefed them about the university history, academic and research activities and also told them about the flagship programs of the university. He urged the students to study with utmost diligence and dedication and to acquire knowledge about modern sciences and technology for their bright future. Furthermore, he also advised students that no shortcut is needed to achieve success rather success is attainable only through dedicated study and hard work. He added about the UVAS role in development of livestock sector and its clinical services for the treatment of animals. He highlighted the scope of veterinary education, research and other allied sciences professional degree programs. He said every year UVAS producing trained graduate who playing their lead role in the development of livestock, poultry, dairy, meat and pharmaceutical sectors as trained human resource by utilizing their knowledge and skills. Prof Masood Rabbani asked several questions to students about their future plans and also asked about their interests related to the field of animal sciences.
