Global Traditional Taekwondo Federation Pakistan Secretary General Syed Ali Imran has announced modern coaching, refereeing and capacity-building courses at tehsil, district and division levels to promote traditional Taekwondo and develop talent from grassroots to the national level.
Speaking to journalists, former Taekwondo player Syed Ali Imran said that players’ hard work alone is not enough; qualified coaches and professionally trained referees are essential to teach modern techniques, ensure fair decisions and raise competition standards.
He said the courses will strengthen the technical skills of coaches and officials and familiarize them with international rules, modern strategies and professional standards.
An awareness campaign will also be launched in schools and colleges to encourage children and youth to participate in traditional Taekwondo.
Syed Ali Imran said the Federation is organizing events at tehsil, district and division levels, while the revival of school-level sports can help build a healthy, disciplined and confident generation, promoting leadership, teamwork and physical development.
