LAHORE (15-06-2026): The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore reaffirmed its commitment to research excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship and commercialization while working closely with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan and industry partners.
During a meeting at UVAS City Campus, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani discussed progress in ORIC and BIC initiatives with former HEC Chairman Prof Dr Javaid Laghari and former PHEC Chairperson Prof Dr Mohammad Nizamuddin. The participants emphasized stronger public-private partnerships, technology transfer, and turning research into practical solutions for national development. UVAS also highlighted plans to develop its Ravi Campus into a Livestock Tourism Hub integrating education, research and outreach.
