Aniqa is not only a beauty pageant but also plays an active role in the field of social services
24-year-old Aniqa Jamal Iqbal is a Masters student in Accounting and Auditing and has previously raised the flag of Pakistan in various international beauty pageants
Aniqa Jamal has previously participated in many international pageants including Miss Earth, Miss Global, Miss Cosmo, Miss Eco International and Miss Aura International. While she has also gained attention by winning four awards in the Freedom of the World competition held in Kosovo.
Aniqa is not only a beauty pageant but also plays an active role in the field of social services. She has made helping thalassemia patients in Pakistan the main theme of her social campaign under the famous Miss World program ‘Beauty with a Purpose’.
Aniqa Jamal Iqbal was crowned at a ceremony held at a local hotel in Lahore, where Miss Pakistan Universal 2022 Dr. Shafaq Akhtar crowned her.
The development is being seen as a new chapter in the history of international beauty pageants for Pakistan. Miss Pakistan World Organization Head Sonia Ahmed said that Pakistan’s first official participation in Miss World is not only an important milestone in representing the country at the global level, but it also proves that Pakistani women are proving their mettle on international platforms as well as in various fields.
It should be remembered that Pakistani women have participated in various international beauty pageants before, however, this will be the first official representation in Miss World.
