YouTube has redesigned Shorts videos

Now the company has made some new features and updates to YouTube Shorts so that the experience of these short videos can be better.

The company has said that some changes are being made to the interface of Shorts videos and some new features will also be available to users.

The first change is the new clear screen mode that will hide icons and text and will not distract while watching the video.

Similarly, now you will also be able to double the playback speed of YouTube Shorts videos so that you can make the short video shorter or watch it faster.

The company is now introducing a heart icon instead of the thumbs up, which will basically be a like button.

Along with this, the dislike button is being retired, and the Not Interested and Don’t Recommend ten channel options will be used instead.

This feature has been available for long-form YouTube videos for a long time, but is now being made part of Shorts as well.

The company said that the dislike button is used unfairly by many people.

YouTube said that the new options will give you more control over your experience with Shorts videos and will make it easier to determine your preferences.
